According to a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will not be deterred by a rejection in its quest to procure Liverpool FC attacker Luis Diaz.
As we have heard, Bayern Munich is preparing to submit another offer, but what we might not have fully understood is just how much the Bavarians want Diaz. In fact, Bayern Munich views Diaz as the ‘perfect signing’:
Bayern want to attack and try again for Luis Díaz. They believe Díaz can be a perfect signing
ADand are not leaving the conversations. Liverpool believe Díaz is worth more than the €67.5m Bayern offered. Barcelona are still in contact with Diaz’s agents but the deal is too expensive for them.
Even with all of the other links to other wingers, Bayern Munich seems to zeroed in on Diaz at this point. What remains unclear, however, is whether or not Liverpool actually wants to sell Diaz and if FC Barcelona is not the 28-year-old’s preferred destination.
Those details will likely be worked out soon enough...
