Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly told the club he still wants a left winger before the start of the new season.

Flick had wanted to add a full-back to the squad but is aware of the club’s financial issues and will settle for a left winger instead, according to Diario Sport.

Barcelona have already missed out on Nico Williams

but remain linked with Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford.

The report claims that Flick will have to be patient when it comes to new signings, as there will be no new arrivals

until August at the earliest.

Yet there is optimism still that Barcelona can add another player to the squad in time for the new campaign.

Flick has already said goodbye to Ansu Fati, while Pau Victor is also expected to move on in search of regular game time.

The departures mean that Flick wants to add another attacker and keeps asking the club to work on a possible transfer.
