According to a report from Kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the deal between Bayern Munich and Al Nassr for Kingsley Coman is on hold due to a disagreement on the transfer fee:
Bayern and Al-Nassr have yet to agree a fee for Kingsley Coman, hence Christoph Freund’s statements yesterday. The deal could still drag on because the clubs’ financial expectations are still different. Max Eberl had negotiated a fee of around €30m with the Saudi club, but that wasn’t approved by
ADBayern bosses, who are demanding more. They’re also aware that a Coman departure would mean that they have to replace him, which will be expensive in itself.
Coman has received assurances from the club’s management that the move would go through. However, the financial terms have not yet been finalized. Coman must therefore continue to wait for an agreement.
Coman did not play against Grasshopper Club Zurich on Tuesday, but Freund indicated that the absence was due to a sickness and not because of any impending transfer.
Is Bayern Munich getting cold feet?
