With precisely a month until Penn State kicks off the 2025 football season, we pay homage to yet another bittersweet big play moment against Ohio State. With the Nittany Lions having nailed a field goal on its opening drive in last year’s showdown against the Buckeyes, OSU quarterback Will Howard stepped back to pass and fired a slant that cornerback Zion Tracy read like a War and Peace novel, jumping the route for a pick-six that was so obvious, he pointed his finger towards the crowd when he was still
15 yards from the end zone. While the play was unfortunately, the only touchdown of the day en route to another painfully close loss to OSU, it’s still a moment that’s worth watching on its own.
Currently wearing the No. 30 jersey on the roster are redshirt freshman linebacker Kari Jackson, who had his moments in the Blue-White game back in April, and redshirt senior running back Amiel Davis.
