Tonight’s (Aug. 1) episode of SmackDown featured AAA World Tag Team Champions Los Garza issuing an open challenge for a title defense against any team backstage. Santos Escobar’s crew never anticipated
the call would be answered by AAA stars Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown.

The WWE commentators put over Iguana huge by talking about how he stole the show in June at Worlds Collide. And Iguana did look like a big time star when he got the hot tag, at least until he botched a springboard move on the ropes. However, he did recover to land an Iguanarana.

The crowd would have loved to see Iguana win a championship in his debut match on SmackDown. However, his partner Psycho Clown fell victim to Los Garza’s finishing move, and the champs retained.
