TCU took the one-goal lead late in the second half, when freshman midfielder Allyson Brown fed the ball to Grace Vest, who carried the ball up the left sideline before sending a pass into the UTSA box. The ball found its way to Cameron Patton, who booted it into the back of the Roadrunner net with under 10 minutes to play in the match. It was the first career assist for Vest and the second for Brown, who had one during TCU’s 6-1 victory against Pepperdine on Aug. 14. The Horned Frogs will look to remain unbeaten with a win over the No. 13 ranked Hawkeyes on Thursday.
