The Dallas Cowboys held their third practice of training camp on Thursday, the final one before their first day off. Suddenly we are knee deep into all of this.
As action was underway in Oxnard all of a sudden word started to emerge that starting right tackle Terence Steele was not a part of the practice. More word circulated and it was being reported that Steele was having his ankle evaluated. Nick Harris of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram noted that the issue is not viewed as a major one for the team.
Cowboys RT Terence Steele is out of practice for an ankle issue. Not viewed as major.

Cowboys LB Kenneth Murray is out for the birth of his child.
While it is nice to see that this is not viewed as a big deal by the Cowboys, you never want to see any kind of issue surrounding a starter on your team. Steele has been a serviceable player for the team and began training camp catching a stray from Jerry Jones, but the team having to operate without him would not be fun.
Hakeem Adeniji filled in at right tackle.
Terence Steele is missing practice to get his right ankle examined according to the Cowboys. Hakeem Adeniji getting first-team reps at RT.
