Bayern Munich’s wait for Luis Diaz could be ending.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot confirmed that Diaz was held out of his team’s 4-2 friendly loss to AC Milan earlier today due to “ongoing discussions.” James Pearce of The Athletic confirmed the news:

Arne Slot confirms that Luis Diaz was left out v AC Milan due to the ongoing discussions over his future. However, Darwin Nunez’s absence was down to a minor fitness issue.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna backed up Pearce’s reporting:
