One of WWE’s greatest tag teams reunited as two of the company’s top factions from the past five years finally clashed.
Bloodline members Jimmy and Jey Uso teamed up for a special dark match after SmackDown, taking on Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. The crowd at Newark’s Prudential Center was loud for this one, even after an electrifying edition of SmackDown.
Initially, the fans were more interested in “Yeeting” as Jey’s song played over and over. Fed up, Mysterio and McDonagh finally
said, “No Yeet,” jumping the Usos before the bell.
Judgment Day controlled the early action, getting the best of “Big Jim,” who had already faced Talla Tonga earlier in the night. Although fans got shortchanged on the Usos’ entrance, they made their voices heard, surprisingly chanting for the rudo, “Dirty Dom.”

The momentum soon shifted when Jimmy reversed a suplex attempt by Mysterio. He then made a hot tag to Jey, who lit up both opponents with a series of strikes before leveling them with a hip attack.
The finish came when Jey countered a 6-1-9 with a spear, leading to a superkick party from the Usos on McDonagh. Moments later, they hit the 1-D to score the victory.
Recently, rumors suggested Jimmy could move from SmackDown to Raw, joining his wife Naomi, who won Raw’s Women’s World Title last month. That has led to speculation about a Usos reunion, which some believe could revitalize Raw’s tag team division.
But if Friday’s dark match is an indication, such a move could feel more like a nostalgia act. Both men have grown too distinct to return to their old dynamic.
Next up for Jey Uso is another Bloodline revival, this time a high-stakes tag match at SummerSlam. On Saturday, he’ll team with his cousin Roman Reigns to face Seth Rollins’ enforcers, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Tensions are running high after the “Bron-Brons” beat down the Samoan duo and made off with Reigns’ sneakers last Monday on Raw.
