WHAT'S THE STORY?

The contract for Bayern Munich star Harry Kane ends in 2027, which could make this his last in Bavaria.

The Englishman just turned 32-years-old, has a young family, and is in within striking distance of Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal-scoring record. He has also been a model citizen and very fair with Bayern Munich from the outset of his time with the club.

Why is that important? Well, Kane — being Kane — would likely want Bayern Munich to make some money off of him from a sale to show his gratitude

to the club who helped him get his first trophy. Surely, if Kane is planning to go back to England, he would be upfront with Bayern Munich and work with the club to facilitate a move to exactly the club he wants to play for.

Or, he could play out his deal and just leave for free after the 2026/27 campaign, a scenario which would not be the end of the world for Bayern Munich either, since it would be getting two more seasons with Kane at striker.

So...with that elusive first trophy in tow, will Kane play out the 2025/26 campaign as his final season in Germany?
