One aspect of so many players contributing over a long major league season is that, if you win a championship, the dispersion of rings can take some time, with many of those players in other places.

Kevin Kiermaier, the four-time Gold-Glove-winning outfielder acquired at the 2024 trade deadline who retired at the end of the World Series

, is now a special assistant for the Blue Jays, but lives in Tampa.

On Saturday, Kiermaier was presented his championship ring by the Dodgers in the clubhouse before

the middle game of this weekend series against the Rays, and got a gold-lettered jersey with his number 93.

One day after getting traded to the Twins, outfielder James Outman bid farewell to the Dodgers on Friday. “It was a dream come true to debut with the team that drafted me, and I’ll forever be grateful to the @dodgers for the opportunity they gave me,” Outman wrote in an Instagram post. “I was truly proud to wear Dodger Blue every night.”

Baseball America on the Dodgers’ trade deadline: “It wasn’t a bad day for the sport’s most talent-rich team—just an underwhelming one, relative to the speculation and considering the roster’s current injury load. The Dodgers didn’t get worse. They just didn’t get noticeably better.”

The Dodgers’ trade deadline moves were a bet on the current roster, wrote Fabian Ardaya at The Athletic:
