The NFL unveils a list of its top 100 players each year, which grinds on for weeks as we learn what players think of their peers. We’ve now seen three Atlanta Falcons make that list, with Bijan Robinson at #62 joining Jessie Bates at #92 and Drake London at #97.

It’s perhaps a little surprising to see Bijan not make the top 50, but he is only two years into what is shaping up
to be a tremendous career. After a strong but not spectacular rookie season that saw him put up 976 yards on the ground and 497 through the air with eight combined touchdowns, he broke out in a major way in 2024 in Zac Robinson’s offense, posting 1,456 rushing yards, 431 receiving yards, and 15 combined touchdowns. That rushing yardage total was third in the league and his 14 rushing touchdowns were tied for fifth, putting him in elite company with players like Jahmyr Gibbs and Jonathan Taylor.
Young and with the kind of underrated ability to power through contact pairing with a truly phenomenal level of shiftiness that figures to make him one of the league’s elite backs for years to come, Robinson should be even higher on this list next year so long as he’s healthy and the offense lives up to its considerable promise in Atlanta.
And yes, I know we’d like to see him higher. Look, we all know this list is hardly a definitive measures of anything, given that Bijan is only a couple of spots higher than Bo Nix. But I’m always in favor of Falcons getting their due, and after Bijan’s tremendous 2024, he’s extremely deserving of the recognition he’s getting from fans and his peers. May he follow that up with an even better season for a winning Falcons team.
