July is college football’s unofficial months for uniform unveils.

The Tulane Green Wave joined the movement Wednesday by showcasing its updated look for the 2025 season. Tulane revealed three jerseys — olive green, sky blue, and white — mixing aspects of previous uniforms into a new look.

Tulane’s official football account tweeted individual close-ups of the green, white, and blue jerseys, allowing fans to observe the new threads in intricate detail:

What changed? The most notable difference is the “TULANE” font on the front of the jersey. That specific wordmark has been in use by the athletic department since 1998, and it replaces the thinner, serifed “TULANE” that was in use from 2019-24.

The sleeve striping remains relatively consistent with the prior set of jerseys, so the font change is the only notable update. And although it won’t be noticed on gamedays, the inside of the collar now reads “Welcome to Uptown.”

As the Green Wave didn’t reveal any helmet or pants along with the jerseys, we can most likely assume those remain similar in 2025. Thus, Tulane has plenty of combinations at its disposal using its unique palette of green, white, and blue. No black jersey was revealed, but that’s another color the Green Wave have frequented in the 2020s, most recently donning black jerseys and black pants vs. Charlotte last Halloween.

The new Tulane jerseys debut at home on Aug. 30 vs. Northwestern, although the first combination the Green Wave will equip remains a mystery.
