After a frustrating summer break, Bayern Munich is back, and they managed to sign Luis Díaz who will make his debut for the Bavarians today against French club Olympique Lyonnais (or just Lyon). The German giants had a less-than-ideal end to the season, injuries and departures alike, but this is a new and (can you really call it that?) improved side to start the new season.
It cannot be ruled out that more signings are on their way, such as Nick Woltemade. The player is apparently smarting from his
club VfB Stuttgart’s reluctance to let him leave, and with Bayern holding firm with their latest and final offer, there is a chance that the Swabians will relent and release their player.
For now, though, it’s great to see the Rekordmeister back in action.
It’s Bayern time.
