Alejandro Kirk was to play a rehab game in Buffalo today, but then Tyler Heineman took a ball off the mask yesterday, and there was a need for Kirk to be here.
I didn’t think he would need a rehab again anyway, since he was only out for a week.
Leo Jimenez is on his way to Buffalo.
We’ll have three catchers for a bit, while they decide if Heineman needs a IL time.
