Hello Husky fans. The Huskies got some good news today when three-star wide receiver Blaise LaVista from Lincoln- Way East HS, IL committed to Washington.

Listed at 6’2” and around 190 pounds, LaVista has really had a strong summer/spring showcasing his skills on the 7v7 circuit. Last season LaVista had 60 receptions, 1,447 yards and 24 touchdowns (his sophomore season he had 47 receptions for 1,091 yards and 15 touchdowns). 247 Sports has him currently
rated as the 196th best wide receiver in the country which is pretty low considering his elite production in both games and via the 7V7 circuit.
The Huskies offered LaVista on the 1st of July and after a few other prospects committed elsewhere they honed their attention on him. Washington is currently LaVista’s only power conference offer. With Mason James already in the class as more of a inside/outside combo receiver, LaVista projects as an outside receiver and when I watch his film I see a lot of current Seahawk Jake Bobo in his game (not a burner but can get open and make plays).
