Hickory starter Enrique Segura allowed three runs in 4.2 IP, walking three and striking out two. Kyle Larsen allowed two runs in 1.1 IP, striking out two and walking one. Brock Porter struck out two in a shutout inning.

Yeremi Cabrera had a hit, a walk and a stolen base. Paulino Santana, newly promoted to A ball, had a hit.
