Still no Springer in the lineup. We have Loperfido leading off today. Nathan Lukes has had two hits in his last twenty at-bats (but both were home runs). Maybe that is why he’s getting a day off. Loperfido is hitting .382/.447/.588 in his last 13
games and .474/.545/.789 in his last 8.
It is going to be tough to wait for Kirk to return. The bottom of the order looks weak, but then, without them, who is going to bunt in the first three innings?
