We are starting to get a clearer picture of potential players that could be a part of the 2026 class for Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats. However, that has not stopped them from entering the conversation late on some players.
The most recent is 5-star center Ethan Taylor, who took to Twitter on Tuesday night to announce the news.
A 7-foot and 244-pound center who plays for Link Academy, Taylor has had a busy summer adding offers from Kansas, Texas, Baylor, Houston, and several others. Well, now
we can add the Cats to that offer list. A top-25 player in the class of 2026, it appears it could be an uphill battle for the Cats to pull Taylor out of the Midwest, as the Kansas Jayhawks seem to have the inside track at this moment.
With several offers out to other big men in the class, Taylor is considered the No. 1 center in the class according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings. So potentially landing him would be another feather in the hat of Coach Pope on the recruiting trail.
Add another name to the list to monitor over the next few months. Will be an interesting recruitment to watch.
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky!! #AGTG pic.twitter.com/9uBDD7dlvT
