Seattle Seahawks training camp is underway, with players wearing pads for the first time on Monday. Come this time next week, it’ll be game prep for the preseason opener versus the Las Vegas Raiders. You can feel the excitement in the air!

As noted earlier this month, Field Gulls is going on the road this week to cover two Seahawks practices. The first one will be at VMAC in Renton, while the other is the Football Fan Fest at Lumen Field.

I’m thrilled to announce that there will also be a special ‘Ultimate

AD

Crossover’ podcast featuring several Seahawks podcast hosts and content creators. We’ll be going over our training camp observations and insights and previewing the Lumen Field practice, plus much more!

Who will be on the podcast?

  • Dan Viens, host of the Seahawks Forever Podcast and recently credentialed media for the first three days of Seahawks training camp. Former host of the Field Gulls podcast.
  • Corbin Smith, longtime Seahawks beat reporter, host of the Locked On Seahawks podcast, and founder of the recently launched Emerald City Spectrum.
  • Brandon Cain, host of The Hawk’s Nest podcast and a regular voice and guest throughout the Seahawks podcast ecosphere.
  • Bryce Coutts, co-host of The HawksZone Rundown podcast and member of the Field Gulls staff.
  • Mookie Alexander, doesn’t host a podcast but runs Field Gulls and is a regular guest on The HawksZone Rundown.

When is the podcast recording?

Saturday, August 2 at 2-4 pm PT. The podcast will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitter/X, both of which have chat functions so you can interact with us and get any questions in.

There is another podcast planned for Friday, August 1 at the same location at 7 pm with Dan and Bryce as the hosts.

Where will the podcast be?

The podcasts will be broadcast live from Fast Fashion Brewing in SoDo (1723 1st Ave S), just a few blocks away from T-Mobile Park. I hear the Mariners have an important home series against the Texas Rangers in their quest to make the playoffs. If you’re in the area and want to stop on by before the Lumen Field practice, come say hi!

This is going to be a fun, collaborative show in a laid back environment. We hope that you tune in or stop by! If you can do neither, then no problem, because you can always catch the broadcast replay. We’re stoked to do something of this scale for Seahawks fans to enjoy.

See you soon!
