(Arizona Sports) Diamondbacks’ Shelby Miller resumes throwing; team ‘dodged a bullet’ with Eugenio Suarez

The Diamondbacks placed Miller on the 15-day injured list retroactive to July 6, and he went for a second opinion with orthopedic surgeon Keith Meister — who performed Justin Martinez’s season-ending elbow surgery.

(AZ Family) Ketel Marte’s Scottsdale home burglarized while he was at All-Star Game

Police confirmed the crime happened sometime in the evening at his home near 64th Street and Shea Boulevard. Officers say somebody broke into the house and stole “numerous personal items,” including jewelry.

No one was home at the time. No arrests have been made, and it’s an active investigation, police said.
