Browns sign OG/C Bucky Williams, waive struggling depth player

The Cleveland Browns have signed G/C Bucky Williams and waived C Brady Latham in a corresponding move.

Latham has been struggling in camp with snapping the ball since transitioning to center from offensive guard this summer. He had been handling the 3rd-team snaps behind Ethan Pocic and Luke Wypler in practice.

Bucky Williams was originally signed as a UDFA by the Los Angeles Chargers following the 2024 NFL Draft, and spent the summer working as a depth player along the offensive line. He was then

injured and placed on IR for the entirety of his rookie season, before being waived in May of this year.

The Browns have been searching for stability at the center position behind Pocic and Wypler for a while now, as they usually like to keep a center on the practice squad.
