Vinícius Jr. has added another detail to his resume—this time off the pitch. The Real Madrid and Brazil star has been immortalized in wax at the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum in New York City, joining global football icons such as Pelé and Lionel Messi.

The wax figure of Vinícius is outfitted in Brazil’s iconic yellow “Canarinha” jersey, paying homage to his national team career. It now stands among the museum’s collection of internationally renowned athletes and celebrities.
In a playful twist during the statue’s unveiling, Vinícius surprised museum visitors by posing motionless beside his wax figure (as seen in the video above), fooling many into thinking he was the sculpture himself. He eventually broke character, giving fans a memorable moment.
