As expected, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz is headed to Hamburger SV on a loan assignment.

Bayern Munich announced the move on its club website:

FC Bayern have loaned Daniel Peretz to Hamburg. The 25-year-old Israel international goalkeeper, who has been at the German record champions since 2023, joins the promoted side until the end of the season.

Hamburger SV also announced the move on its social media channels:

director Christoph Freund, who drove the acquisition of Peretz from Maccabi Tel Aviv back in 2024, wish the goalkeeper well on his loan assignment.

“Daniel has constantly improved over the last two years at FC Bayern. We’re very satisfied with him. He has really good skills and an outstanding character, we can always rely on him in our goalkeeping team around Manuel Neuer. Now we want him to gain more experience and a lot of Bundesliga minutes at Hamburg,” said Freund.

With a move for Hugo Ekitiké getting close, the reality is that Bayern Munich is likely going to get Luis Diaz…whether fans like it or not. Bayern Munich has reportedly also exited talks with VfB Stuttgart to focus on a deal for Diaz. It might also just be time for Bayern Munich to rip off the band-aid and sell Kim Min-jae, João Palhinha, and Sacha Boey. Finally, we have a note Bayer Leverkusen’s CEO and his recent slam on Bayern.
