The Cubs today announced the following roster move:

Right-handed pitcher Michael Soroka (who will wear No. 41) has reported and will be active for today’s game, although currently he's scheduled to start Monday against the Reds.

Right-handed pitcher Brooks Kriske has been designated for assignment.

With this move, there's an open spot on the Cubs 40-man roster.

Today’s game preview will post at 11:30 a.m. CT.
