Good
morning.
- For all of you yelling at the kids to get off your lawn, J.J. Cooper has five reasons why players today are better than those of the past.
- If you want more evidence, Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski started his career with 11 no-hit innings over two starts before giving up a two-run home run to the Twins Matt Wallner.

- Congratulations to LSU, who beat Coastal Carolina to win their second Men’s College World Series in three seasons.
- LSU’s Kade Anderson threw a one-hit, complete game shutout in the first game of the best-of-three series with Coastal Carolina. Ryan McGee has more on Anderson’s outing. Anderson is a strong candidate to be the first pick by Washington in the upcoming MLB Draft.
- McGee also argues that LSU has earned the title of the top overall program in college baseball with the win.
- Jake Mintz has 10 players at the recent MCWS that are top draft prospects.
- Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa Aloy won the Golden Spikes Award as the top player in College baseball. I’ve seen Aloy mocked to the Cubs in the first round of the upcoming draft.
- Returning to last week’s big story, Jeff Passan has the inside story of how things got so bad between the Red Sox and their now-departed slugging star Rafael Devers.
- And in the Boston tradition of anonymously slamming players once they are out the door, the Red Sox were reportedly upset that Devers would not do postgame interviews on the New England Sports Network (NESN) that broadcasts Red Sox games. Sam Neumann reports.
- Sad news.
Heartbroken to share:
