Happy Saturday one and all. The Arizona Cardinals have made a move at the receiver position, with them placing Quez Watkins on injured reserve.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed wide receiver Nate McCollum and has placed wide receiver Quez Watkins on injured reserve. The signing took place today at State Farm Stadium, site of 2025 Arizona Cardinals Training Camp.
McCollum (5-9, 187) entered the league with the Seahawks in May as an undrafted
rookie free agent from North Carolina. He played three seasons at Georgia Tech before transferring to North Carolina where he played his final two collegiate seasons (2023-24). In five total seasons, McCollum had 143 receptions for 1,521 yards and five touchdowns. He also returned 17 kickoff for 448 yards at UNC in 2024.
McCollum will wear jersey #39.
Hope for a healthy and quick recovery for Watkins and good luck to McCollum.
