The Long Island Warriors, a hockey program for current and former military members, recently hosted their fifth annual Summer Shootout at the Northwell Health Ice Center. The event featured three days of competition across three skill levels: A, C, and E tiers. Teams from across the country, including those from St. Louis, Boston, Washington DC, Florida, and Rochester, participated alongside local FDNY and EMS ice hockey teams. The Warriors, who have grown to over 110 players since their inception in 2020, expanded from three to four teams due to increased interest. The event culminated in the LI Warriors winning the Division E Title against the Boston Warriors.
