A golfer was hospitalized after being struck by lightning at Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday during a line of evening thunderstorms. The 36-year-old victim stopped breathing, lost consciousness, and went into cardiac arrest. First responders managed to revive him, and he was transported to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. This marks the second lightning strike incident involving a golfer in New Jersey within weeks, following the death of Simon Mariani at Ballyowen Golf Club in July. Additionally, a lightning strike at an archery range in Jackson Township in July resulted in one fatality and injuries to several Boy Scouts.
