Myles Burkett, a former Wisconsin Badger quarterback, has been named the starting quarterback for Eastern Kentucky University for the 2025 football season. Burkett, who joined Wisconsin as a three-star recruit in 2022, played two seasons with the Badgers. He made his debut as a true freshman against New Mexico, completing four of five passes for 84 yards. After not playing during the 2023 season, Burkett transferred to Albany, where he started nine games in 2024, completing 54.7% of his passes for 1,840 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also contributed 134 rushing yards on 76 carries. Burkett reentered the transfer portal in late November and has now secured the starting position at Eastern Kentucky, a Football Championship Subdivision team.
