What's Happening?
The Long Island Warriors, a hockey program for military members, hosted their fifth annual Summer Shootout at Northwell Health Ice Center. The event featured teams from across the country, including those from St. Louis, Boston, Washington DC, Florida, and Rochester, as well as local FDNY and EMS teams. The Warriors, who have grown to over 110 players, expanded from three to four teams due to increased interest. The event culminated in the Warriors winning the Division E Title, showcasing the growth and community spirit of the program.
