What's Happening?
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) have announced the 21st Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa camp, set to take place at Petit Stade in Kigali, Rwanda, from August 23 to August 26. This marks the first time the camp will be held in East Africa, following previous editions in Angola, Egypt, Senegal, and South Africa. The camp will bring together 60 top male and female players under 18 from across Africa, who will receive training from current and former NBA, WNBA, and FIBA players, legends, and coaches. Participants will also engage in life-skills, leadership development, and social responsibility programs. The initiative aims to provide a platform for young African players to develop their skills and reach higher levels in basketball.
