September 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. But as the Suryakumar Yadav-led side take the field for the title glory, they will have a lot of points to address.

This comes in respect to their playing combination which has seen several players struggle so far and only a few players rising up to the occasion. Among them is speedster and pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah, who has comparatively struggled in the ongoing competition. Seeing this, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif took to X as he aimed at Bumrah for his spell of recent performances.

Md Kaif tones down after Bumrah calls his comments “inaccurate”; response goes viral

For the unversed, Kaif took to X and wrote, “Bumrah under Rohit would generally bowl overs 1, 13, 17, 19. Under Surya, in Asia cup, he bowled a three-overs spell at the start. To avoid injury, Bumrah these days, prefers to bowl while his body is warmed up. 1 over of Bumrah in the remaining 14 overs is a huge relief for batters, against stronger teams at World Cup, this could hurt india.”

Bumah was clearly not pleased with Kaif's accusation and called him out straight, writing, “Inaccurate before inaccurate again.” Only hours after Bumrah hit back at Kaif, the latter responded while claiming it to be just an advice for the star pacer. "Please take this as a cricketing observation from a well-wisher and an admirer. You are Indian cricket's biggest match-winner and I know what it takes to give it all when on field wearing India colours," Kaif responded on X.

Bumrah has been amidst talks off late over his workload management as he remains prone to injuries. In the ongoing continental tournament, Bumrah has picked up only five wickets in four matches he has played. While he was rested against Oman, he was again rested in India’s Super Four game against Sri Lanka on Friday, September 26.
