Despite stable visual conditions, the aircraft landed hard, prompting the captain to initiate a go-around to prevent further bouncing. However, the captain did not assume control as per standard procedures, leading to simultaneous inputs from both the captain and first officer. This resulted in a significant nose-up pitch, causing the aft fuselage to strike the runway and damage the tail section. The aircraft involved was identified as TC-LSL, a five-year-old jet with Pratt & Whitney engines. No injuries were reported among the occupants.
