Karen Feldstein, the associate administrator for international and interagency relations at NASA, has announced her departure from the agency after more than 30 years of service. Feldstein has been instrumental in forging international partnerships and advancing NASA's mission priorities. Her leadership has been recognized with Presidential Rank Awards in 2019 and 2024. Feldstein's efforts have significantly contributed to the development and expansion of the Artemis Accords and other international collaborations in human spaceflight, science, and aeronautics. Meredith McKay, currently the deputy associate administrator, will assume the role of acting associate administrator for the Office of International and Interagency Relations effective August 18.
