What's Happening?
The Finnish Navy has successfully conducted a test-firing of the Gabriel V surface-to-surface missile from a Hamina-class fast attack craft. This marks the missile's entry into operational service, replacing the RBS15 SSM following a mid-life upgrade of the Hamina class. The Gabriel V, known as PTO2020 in Finnish service, offers enhanced capabilities with a range of over 200 km and is equipped with radar and GNSS positioning.
