A replica of the Oval Office, located near the White House, has been redesigned to mirror the decor from President Donald Trump's first term. This exhibit, part of 'The People's House: A White House Experience,' offers visitors a chance to experience the Oval Office as it was during Trump's initial presidency. The replica will be updated next year to include the golden touches and other embellishments Trump introduced after returning to power in January. Stewart McLaurin, president of the White House Historical Association, explained that the replica evolves alongside the actual Oval Office, reflecting the decor of each sitting president. The current makeover includes items such as a beige-patterned rug from the Reagan era, gold-colored draperies from Clinton's tenure, and floral wallpaper replacing Obama's striped wall covering. The association is working on reproducing items from Trump's second-term office, which will be incorporated once ready.
