What's Happening?
Germany is preparing to send Ukraine an eighth IRIS-T air defense system, according to Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Oleksii Makeiev. Additionally, Germany has provided over 60 Gepard anti-aircraft systems and the Skynex anti-aircraft artillery system from Rheinmetall, which is performing well in Ukraine's Air Force. Discussions are underway between Ukrainian and German defense industry representatives to jointly build additional air defense systems, incorporating missile systems and artillery from Rheinmetall.
