What's Happening?
The Mojave Desert Land Trust is recruiting 'femme-aligned' students for its Women In Science Discovering Our Mojave (WISDOM) project. This initiative aims to document the Mojave Desert's night skies through photography and data collection. The internship, running from October 2025 to April 2026, offers participants the opportunity to engage in night sky photography, light measurement recording, and data analysis. Interns will also create a creative project to share their findings. The program is open to female students, particularly those underrepresented in conservation, and provides transportation, gear, and a stipend.
