What's Happening?
The Laurel Highlands Kennel Association conducted a dog show on August 16, 2025, in Cumberland, MD, with a total entry of 592 dogs. The Best in Show was awarded to a Bichon Frise named GCHG Top Speed Neal, handled by Lisa Bettis. The Reserve Best in Show went to a Newfoundland, GCHB Evenkeel N Bowater Anchorsaweigh A Storm Is Coming, handled by Jessica Plourde. The event featured various categories judged by experts, including Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding, with Mr. Dana P. Cline serving as the Best in Show judge.
