What's Happening?
Rod and Julie Rogers of Ashland have been awarded the Art of Gardening Club's Yard of the Month for August. Since moving to their home in May 2021, the couple has transformed their yard with a variety of plants, including impatiens, daylilies, hostas, and shrubs. Their garden also features a Leptodermis shrub that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, as well as a vegetable garden with tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers. The couple's yard has hosted family events and reunions, and they plan to further develop the woodlands behind their home.
