Beverly M. Schmidt, a long-time resident of Green Oaks, Illinois, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on November 29, 1941, in Chicago, Schmidt was a cherished member of the Libertyville Covenant Church, where she engaged in ancestry research, bible study, and traveling. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Paul Schmidt, as well as her niece Anita Schmidt, nephews Richard and David Benson, and her brother Sigvard Benson. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband, Josef Schmidt. A celebration of her life is planned to take place at Libertyville Covenant Church, with interment at Ascension Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home.
