Frances Martin, affectionately known as 'Toots' to her family, passed away peacefully in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on August 5, 2025. Born and raised in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, Frances graduated from Lewistown High School in 1961. She married her high school sweetheart and became a devoted military spouse, supporting her family through numerous relocations to various Army bases worldwide. Frances held multiple jobs throughout her life, with her most fulfilling role being a Delta Airlines baggage handler in Augusta, Georgia. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling, attending live events, and watching the Hallmark channel. Frances was cherished as 'Maw Maw' by her three grandchildren and was known for her kindness, humor, and devotion to her faith. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sister, niece, and nephews. The family has requested donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in her memory.
