Jane Catherine Harvel, a resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on August 4, 2025. Born on December 22, 1934, in Rockford, IL, she was one of six children of Clarence and Mae Wolfram. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Warren Lee Harvel, her son Tim Harvel, and her granddaughter Quintine Sheppard, among other family members. After graduating from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1952, she married Warren Lee Harvel in 1954, and they raised eight children in Crystal Lake, IL. Jane spent her retirement years in Fort Myers, FL, where she enjoyed music, reading, and spending time with her family.
