Uri Liron, a 27-year-old Israeli, embarked on a ten-month journey across Africa after completing his IDF military service. Traveling from Kenya to Cape Town without taking a single flight, Liron relied on buses, hitchhiking, and walking, spending approximately $9,300. His journey took him through various countries, including Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and South Africa, where he encountered diverse cultures and landscapes. Despite facing challenges such as swollen face due to mumps and cramped travel conditions, Liron experienced moments of kindness and beauty, making the journey transformative.
