Born in Syracuse, NY, Reidy graduated from Nottingham High School and attended SUNY at Buffalo Architecture School. Throughout his career, he worked in various cities including Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and New York City. In his later years, Reidy settled in Neptune, NJ, where he and his partner Steven Cruse operated Simon Vintage Furniture. Reidy is survived by his partner of 24 years, Steven Cruse, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael J Reidy and Shirley A Scamp Reidy.
