What's Happening?
RAISEfashion, a New York-based nonprofit, is co-presenting the second annual Black-Owned Brands Summer Bazaar at the Dragonfly House in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard. The event aims to support Black-owned luxury brands and is organized in collaboration with Áwet New York and the DJ Henry Dream Fund. The bazaar will feature designs from various Black-owned brands, providing a platform for connection, mentorship, and generational opportunity. The Dragonfly House, a site of historical significance for the Black community, was recognized as the 41st site on the African American Heritage Trail of Martha's Vineyard in 2025.
