Belgian primary school children can now access free educational materials on the impact of fashion, thanks to retailer JBC. The lesson package, titled 'Do trousers grow on trees?', aims to educate students on the fashion production process, from material sourcing to garment care. Available in Dutch and French, the package includes interactive quizzes, creative assignments, and lesson sheets, making sustainability accessible to young learners. JBC's sustainability manager, Anaïs Claes, emphasizes the importance of raising awareness among the younger generation about the story behind each garment.
