Born in Lenoir, North Carolina, she moved to Georgia as a child and graduated from Evans High School in 1957. Jane married Joe R. Johnson in 1966, and they shared 59 years of marriage. She was a dedicated member of Abilene Baptist Church for 45 years, participating in the Adult Sanctuary Choir and various ministries. Jane is survived by her husband, daughter Becky Johnson Etheridge, brother William 'Bill' Jackson, grandsons Collin and Mason Etheridge, and extended family. Visitation is scheduled for August 9, 2025, at Platt’s Funeral Home, with funeral services on August 10, 2025, at Abilene Baptist Church.
