Co-owner Ibrahim Hussein, along with partners Ahmed Rashed, Muhanned Ibrahim, and Mohamed Mohamed, aims to offer a unique atmosphere distinct from other coffee shops in the area. The Park Avenue location will feature a 1,600-square-foot space with comfortable furniture, dramatic lighting, and a chic neutral color scheme. Layali specializes in single-origin high-grade coffees from Yemen, roasted locally in Rochester. The menu includes a variety of espresso beverages, traditional Adeni tea, and matcha tea drinks, complemented by cakes, pastries, and desserts. The coffee house will operate late into the night, providing a social space without alcohol.
